Settings and your account
Most of what clients and the calendar see starts in Settings. A few pages are enough. The rest can wait until you actually need them.
Profile, practice, and session defaults
Settings, then Profile, is your identity inside the app: first and last name, credentials if you want them on record, contact details, and timezone. The app shows your initials. It does not upload a photo for this profile. Timezone is what calendar and booked times use, so it is worth getting right before you schedule anyone.
Settings, then Practice, holds the practice name, address, phone, and website. The practice name can appear on recap emails and on the ambient display when that toggle is on. Recap subject, greeting, the next-session line, and your sign-off live here too, which is how the email still sounds like you. In the subject, {client_name}, {date}, and {session_type} are replaced for that session.
Settings, then Sessions, sets the default type, duration, rate, and whether new sessions count toward ICF hours. You can also edit the list of session types. Those defaults pre-fill Start, Schedule, and Log session. They are a starting point. Any one session can differ, and it should, when the hour is not a typical one. After a session is completed, Hours Logging can add or remove its ICF count without deleting the session.
A page for people who are not clients yet
Public Profile is separate from Profile. It is a page you can send before someone becomes a client, when they want a sense of you before the first call. Display name is required. You can add a photo (JPG, PNG, or WebP, up to 5 MB), a tagline, a bio, up to five focus areas, and a short list of how you work. The page address is sessiocoach.com/c/ plus a short name you choose. It has to be unique.
The page can use Sage & Sand, Dusk, Blue Slate, or Rose Clay. That choice does not change your dashboard or the ambient display. A Book a discovery call button can open an email to you, or link to a booking tool. Empty sections are left off the live page, so a short profile does not look unfinished. The profile stays private until you publish it.
The app itself has the same four themes. Switching the app theme also updates the ambient display.
Staying signed in
After 30 minutes without a click, keystroke, or scroll, this browser signs out. For the last three minutes, a message asks if you are still there. Moving the mouse, without clicking, does not count. The clock pauses only while the session timer is playing, so an active session will not kick you out mid-conversation. Pausing the timer, or sitting in wrap-up without typing, does not pause the clock. Unsaved wrap-up can be lost if the browser signs out, so it is worth finishing that step while you are still in it. You can set a longer timeout on a personal computer. Leave that off on a shared machine.
Active sessions lists browsers that can still open Sessio as you. A row is a browser, not a coaching appointment, and it does not mean someone is looking at client information right now. Closing a laptop does not sign that browser out. Sign out one row, or sign out all other devices and stay on this one. Sign out in the header signs out every browser, including this one.
Password changes require at least eight characters, and the confirmation has to match. Deleting the account is handled by support in this version. Treat it as permanent once support completes it.
