How to set up and use Sessio, one section at a time.

Updated October 8, 2026

Sessio is practice management for independent life coaches, built around the hour you spend with a client. You can connect Stripe for payments and Google Calendar when you want them.

A few settings are enough to begin: your name, practice, timezone, and a typical session. Then add a client and run or log a session when you are ready.

Start a scheduled or ad-hoc session, keep an eye on the timer, and close with a recap your client can actually use. Session type and ICF hours stay on the same record.

Each client profile holds contact details, rate, and the history you will want before the next conversation. You can import a spreadsheet, archive someone, or delete a profile.

Session notes belong to a completed session. Memos are for dated writing that is not a session. GROW is the default when you are writing up an hour; free-form is the default for memos.

A completed session with a fee creates a pending payment record for you. Connect Stripe if you want the client to pay that session by card. You can still mark other payments paid yourself.

Day, week, month, and agenda show the same sessions, so you can look at the day in front of you or the month ahead. You can book a single time or a weekly series, and connect Google Calendar.

Save a web link or upload a document you might hand to a client. Files share a 2 GB limit. You can email a link, or a private file link that expires.

The ambient display is a calm second screen for the client: a slow visual and the session timer. You connect it after you start, on this screen or on an iPad.

Profile, practice, and session defaults quietly feed the rest of the app. You can publish a public page, change theme and password, and choose which browsers stay signed in.

Most timer, ambient, and save problems come down to the browser, the network, or a field the form is still waiting on. These checks are worth a minute before you write support.
